Elastic Training Reins - NORTON ELASTIC
The NORTON ELASTIC training reins are designed to assist in the work with young horses and horses that tend to stiffen in the poll or resist the rider’s hand. They help encourage a more natural and correct head and neck position through gentle and progressive guidance.
They can be used both during riding and lunging, providing soft support that encourages the horse to work in a correct frame without harsh restriction, making them suitable for training and corrective work.

The reins attach to a surcingle or girth on each side of the horse, creating a comfortable and balanced frame in which the horse can move freely while remaining guided.
They are fully adjustable, allowing adaptation to each horse’s individual needs. It is important not to set them too short, especially at the beginning of training, in order to avoid unnecessary resistance and achieve effective and calm learning.
